Squier Telecaster

The item in this auction is (1) used 1986 Fender Squier Telecaster guitar (made in Japan...serial #E616099). The
overall condition of this item is good or better. This guitar was purchased in a "modified" condition a couple of years ago. The neck pickup was replaced with a humbucker style pickup (neck pickup area routed) and the control plate was modified to house some kind of phase switch. The guitar worked fine in the condition it was purchased in, I just did not care for the configuration.

Guitar Description

Physical Appearance

• Headstock - Little signs of wear/damage; only a small amount of nicks and scratches.
• Neck - Some minor nicks/dings on the back; no significant wear/damage on the front. 
• Guitar Body - There are minor signs of wear, very light scratches and some light/medium sized nicks/dings. None of the nicks/dings are very deep and most are the size of a pencil eraser or smaller.
• Bridge Plate - The top right front corner has a "hazy" spot which can probably be cleaned up.

Frets
The frets appear to be original and in good or better shape. There is little to minor wear and some spots of light oxidation (1st and 2nd frets).

Electronics
The pickups have been replaced with brand new Bill Lawrence Keystone Telecaster pickups. The 3-way selector switch and all related components have been replaced with a 4-way switch.

Hardware
The majority of the hardware appear to be original. The items that I had replaced include the following:

• Pickguard & screws
• Control plate & screws
• Selector switch & knob
• Volume/tone control knobs
• Pickups

Modifications
The only physical modifications on this guitar that I am aware of is the neck pickup area (routed for a humbucker) and any hardware/electronics that I had professionally installed. All other guitar parts are only assumed to be original.

I will include the pickguard (humbucker cutout in neck position) and the selector switch knob
(top hat style) that came with the purchase of this guitar (see photo) . Also included in this auction is a
hardshell case which does not appear to be the original (see photo).
